The Podcast of the Night

As part of Researchers’ Night, ten distinguished scientists shared insights into engineering, philosophy, technology, music, medicine, psychology, politics, history, and theology. Guided by Kostis Kotsonis’ questions, the researchers revealed glimpses of their personal journeys, introduced us to their scientific worlds, and helped us understand why they fell in love with their fields. All this took place against the backdrop of a 1948 Ford antique and a pop art triptych of a 2nd-century AD sculpture at the Seagull Space studios.

Episode 1 - Hematology & Precision Medicine

In the first episode of The Heart of the Researcher, Kostis Kotsonis interviews Kostas Stamatopoulos, a hematologist and director of the Institute of Applied Biosciences at CERTH.

Episode 2 - Material Science & Engineering

In the second episode of The Heart of the Researcher, Kostis Kotsonis welcomes Antonia Moropoulou, an emeritus professor at the National Technical University of Athens and a member of the administrative committee of the Technical Chamber of Greece.
