Artificial Intelligence & Multimedia
A small shop in Kilkis and an Amstrad 464 with a green screen sparked his first connection with computer science. Studying at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, he eventually joined CERTH’s research family, focusing on multimedia (particularly image and video) and artificial intelligence. Today, he leads projects with a variety of applications, from combating fake news to Alzheimer’s prevention. Beyond research, he also enjoys outdoor sports as a hobby.
