I teach Ancient Greek language and literature at the Department of Philology of the University of Crete. In recent years, I have been studying the history of emotions in ancient Greece. In this discussion, we will refer to the subject of the history of emotions, talk about specific emotions and how they are presented in the public discourse of ancient societies, and compare the representations of emotions in the ancient and modern worlds.
